2. Solution
Clipper Logistics were determined to carry out the initial drug and alcohol screening themselves, with the intent to implement regular random testing. They believed the implementation of a legally defensible drug and alcohol solution would support their zero-tolerance approach.
D.tec assisted Clipper with policy refinement to allow for their desired testing approach and arranged training for all screeners. The DrugWipe Dual screening kits and Drager alcometer devices enable Clipper Logistics to carry out in-house, random screening together with any post incident testing that may be required. Clipper also utilise the internal recalibration service offered by D.tec to ensure their Drager breathalysers remain tenable.
